Mark Kuperman is the Chief Operating Officer at RMS. His remit includes overseeing all client relationships, together with responsibility for RMS’ teams across all five of its offices (Tampa, London, Paris, Singapore, and Tokyo). Mark’s focus is on implementing the company’s strategic direction, while also developing bespoke solutions for clients to ensure the continued delivery of insights and performance. Additionally, he also oversees the ongoing training, development, and growth of the RMS associate team.
In his previous role, Mark was the President, North America for RMS. Prior to joining the company in 2005, originally as an intern, he worked in Italy and France for Michelin-starred restaurants and served as Executive Chef for Legoland in California. He holds a master’s degree in hospitality management from Cornell University and a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in statistics from Northwestern University, and is a graduate of the California Culinary Academy.
In his spare time, Mark enjoys kayaking, fishing, and now kayak fishing. Since he is regularly on the road for business travel, Mark enjoys anything he can do at home, like carpentry and jamming on the bass with his daughter (who is a drummer).
