Revenue Management Solutions (RMS), the industry acknowledged expert in providing item level price recommendations to chain restaurants in the foodservice industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Ken Burdett as Chief Executive Economist.
Dr. Burdett is a world-renowned economist with over 50 articles on economics and related subjects.
Dr. Burdett has been a member of the Department of Economics at the University of Pennsylvania for the last 10 years. He is a Fellow of the Econometric Society and a Fellow of the Society of Labor Economists. His academic credentials include a BA, CNAA from London, England, a MSc. from London University and a Ph.D. from Northwestern University.
In his new role, Dr Burdett will enhance RMS’s ability to drive profit growth at the unit level, while providing new insights into economic conditions at the enterprise level. This will include forecasting at a local, national and global level. He will be heavily involved in developing new techniques to analyze these situations.
